Family Adventure Holidays in Wales

It was thoroughly exhilarating. Far outweighed any expectation we may have had. We had a wonderful group, great instructor (Sam), the chef delivered full hearty and plentiful food, and the staff were just incredible and fully supportive. We were on the Action Packed week and it was the right mix and balance of activities, an amazing opportunity to try a variety of water sports in a well organized way. Big shout out to Preseli Team and staff. Thank you!

Preseli Venture looked amazing in their literature, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. From our first arrival, staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The place was welcoming and clean, with lots of lovely little touches, like the fire on the first and last night, and the games in the dining area. All the staff went over and above to make our stay pleasant, from the kitchen staff adapting meals for our picky eater child, to the activity staff who were both informative about the local history and wildlife, and calmly encouraging, managing to push us outside of our comfort zones without making us feel like we had failed if something was just too scary / difficult. I have already recommended this trip to friends and family.

It was so lovely to see lots of children playing outside in the evening . Parents relaxing chatting to one another . Great facilities activities and food . Even a birthday cake for Willow , thanks Patrick !… would recommend and May come again next year .

Even though it was an active holiday, it was also deeply relaxing because there was no thinking involved. Everything was beautifully organised and planned out for us. Being presented with three meals a day felt like such a gift. I could have cried. The staff managed to accomplish the one thing that matters most but is often impossible to achieve; the fostering of community.

It was excellent. As a family, we had the chance to relax and experience new things together. It was wonderful having all the food prepared for us and compliments to the chef for being so accommodating, our daughter was dairy free. The instructors were fantastic, they had a brilliant mix of teaching and personability; we couldn’t rate them high enough.

My daughter and I had the most amazing week with you. We were so well looked after by both Lodge and Activity staff throughout. I must make special mention of Oli who was our instructor for the week. His enthusiasm, energy, and patience was so impressive. He made the week for us. The food was so tasty and sustained us throughout a very busy week. The chef and staff were so flexible too. Facilities were first rate and the whole atmosphere was incredibly supportive.Thank you for an unforgettable holiday with my daughter. So special.

We had an amazing time, the staff are as big an attraction as the Pembrokeshire coastline is, they were engaging, patient, professional and very understanding towards the idiosyncrasies of families and kids! George, Ollie, Rob the chef and Claire stood out for their humility, professionalism and care and attentiveness towards all. We have recommended your company to all of our friends.

All the instructors on the activities took such good care of us, they were amazing with the younger children and made sure we were safe at all times. Thanks to Claire and all the other staff in the Lodge for making it such a warm and welcoming place to be (as well as making a campfire for the kids to enjoy!). Also, a big thank you to the chef and kitchen team for the amazing vegetarian food and the fact that my son has come home a much more adventurous eater!

Perfect for getting teenagers off their phones and enjoying the thrill of physical activity! Not to mention the truly breath-taking natural beauty of the surrounding countryside and coast. I really couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We’ve had a wonderful week with great hosts, knowledgeable, kind and encouraging instructors, delicious food and lovely accommodation. We’ve made some amazing memories and will definitely return! Thank you 🙂

Food was excellent and not having to cook certainly improves a holiday for parents! The instructors were excellent. They kept us safe, helped us learn new skills and made it fun. And the Pembrokeshire countryside made for a beautiful setting.

We all so enjoyed it! Fabulous range of activities and the instructors were so professional, friendly and great fun. The catering was wonderful; super variety and good portions.

We had a great holiday. Food was plentiful, healthy and tasty. Staff and instructors were all good fun and everything organised extremely well. Activities were a great mix and we all felt challenged but had lots of fun. One of the best holidays we’ve ever had!

We absolutely loved our experience at Preseli Venture. From the delicious food, to the fantastic local beers, to the amazing instructors, to the brilliant activities, the list just goes on and on… Jon and Aaron made our trip so brilliant with their local knowledge and top tips.

Excellent accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff team, super activity guides, delicious food. We did Action Packed and this was perfect for our 16, 14 and 12 year old. Beautiful location. Will definitely be back to Pembrokeshire.

Booked principally for the children, but made me and my husband feel like we were on a school trip- winding back the years. Food was lovely, itinerary jam packed and the staff were fab.

My wife, 13 year old daughter,14 year old son and myself all had a fantastic time doing the activities and also relaxing with some walks along the coastline.

We had an amazing time at Preseli Venture – we all really enjoyed the water activities, the food was great and filling and all the instructors were supportive, great with the kids and really helpful with advice about the activities and area.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the accomdation was clean, the food was delicious and the activies made the holiday one that we won’t forget in a hurry!

The instruction was cool enough for the kids, experienced enough for the adults. Amazing food, bar on site, comfy beds!

Best time i’ve ever had in Neoprene! We (family of 2 adults and two children) spent an exhilarating, energetic, kinetic, wonderful watery and strangely relaxing time at Preseli Venture. All the guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I can’t think of anything that I would have changed to improve on it. You are blessed to have a wonderful, enthusiastic and professional set of instructors.

Wonderful week away, the activities were incredibly well organised, everyone was so friendly and the hospitality was excellent.

Both boys loved Coasteering and I particularly enjoyed kayaking. All the staff at the center were fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend Preseli Venture to anyone looking for outdoor activities.
